Hilliard State School offers a nationally recognised dance program in the areas of cheerleading, aerobics, hip hop and also contemporary dance. This program is school coordinated and utlises past students as their coaches.
Recreational Dance - 2023 Term 4
In Term 4 we will be offering students in Prep to Year 6 the opportunity to participate in Recreational Hip Hop and Recreational Contemporary for Year 3 to 6 students only.
Hilliard State School has had much success in these sports and not only does it encourage fun and fitness, it also develops co-ordination, team work and very importantly confidence.
COST: The cost is $30 (6 lessons).
Permission Form: Please return the permission form with your child's name and class by no later than Friday 6th October. After this date, the permission forms will be collated, and an invoice will be sent home. A minimum of 10 students is required for the program to progress.
Venue: Students are to be dropped off at the hall. Please note students in Prep will be escorted to their classrooms after their session. Year 1 and 2 students will be escorted to their under-cover area.
Please note due to the availability of coaches, session times for Prep, Year 1 and 2 will commence at 7:50am.
