Uniform Refreshment 2016

Thank you to those parents who attended the first Uniform Committee meeting held on May 25th. During this meeting, all quotes from various suppliers and samples of their products were presented and discussed.

It was the decision of the committee to explore further designs and samples with Tudor Uniforms. Tudor is an Australian owned company who only offer Australian made products. Since our uniform committee meeting we have met with Tudor and begun the process of designing different polo shirts options. These will be available for the committee to view at our next meeting.

Many other decisions were made at this meeting. There will be a two year phase out period of our current Hilliard uniform. This means that children will be able to wear our current uniform until the end of 2017.  We will no longer be offering a dress option for girls. Sales have indicated for some time that our dress is not a popular item. There also will be no re-introduction of a senior shirt.

The purpose of the uniform refreshment is to not only offer an updated fresher looking uniform but to have a more cohesive uniform to make it more simple for parents.

To allow Tudor the time to manufacture all samples required, the next meeting of the Uniform Committee has been changed to THURSDAY 18TH JUNE at 3:15. We invite all parents and staff to attend. At this meeting, as mentioned, we will be studying all samples designed and making the decision as to what samples will be released to the community for voting and their pricing.  We will also be discussing the cease date of second hand uniform sales.

As you can see, it's exciting times ahead. Come along and have your say.
